Sarah's Trip to the Eye Doctor

It's been a while since we last posted, but we've been quite busy.  Patrick's parents came to visit the weekend after St. Patrick's day.  We spent a lot of time with them watching basketball and cheering on the Jayhawks!  The Normans took the kids to the park to fly kites while Sarah and Patrick cleaned out the gutters on our house.  Terry and Janet noticed that the front tires on Sarah's car were pretty worn down, so Sarah had to take her car in to have them replaced.  On the Sunday that we were in town we went and walked around on campus and enjoyed the nice weather.  Although it was a quick visit, it was nice of them to come.

Sarah recently has been having headaches after staring for long periods of time at the computer, so she scheduled an eye appointment.  The eye exam involved lots of components.  The result was that Sarah is slightly near-sighted, but not it is not bad enough for her to need glasses when she drives or looks in the distance.  The eye doctor said that Sarah could go somewhere like Walgreens or Wal-Mart and purchase a pair of +1.0 glasses if it would make looking at the computer screen more manageable.  It was good news that a pair of prescription glasses weren't needed at this time.

This past weekend Sarah went to New York to spend time with two of her college roommate, so she'll write a post about that soon!
