Not Much News

We didn't post last week because there really wasn't much to write about.  I can't say that there is much more this week either.  Sarah recently started back to school.  She's only taking one class- social work practice.  It's a continuation of her class last semester.  Sarah recently applied for a scholarship through AmeriCorps.  It is actually a pretty good deal.  Individuals have to complete 300 hours (like volunteer hours) at a non-for-profit agency by July 31st and write process recordings.  Sarah can use her practicum hours to count towards the 300 hours, so she can pretty much use what she's already doing to get the scholarship.

Kona went to the vet on Saturday for her annual check-up.  She's healthy and doing well, except for she lost a little weight.  We are supposed to monitor how much the cats are eating and recheck Kona's weight in 3 months to see if she's had any further weight changes.
Last weekend before the Super Bowl we took a couple of pictures around town in some of our Old Chicago tee-shirts with one of our friends.  We still want to take pictures at a few other places and then we'll send them in to Old Chicago's site.

We were recently talking about the differences in the personalities of the kids.  Elle is generally pretty sweet, but she has her 2 year old moments.  When we compare Jay's personality with how Elle was at his age, we can definitely see differences.  Jay is very demanding.  When he wants something, he pretty much demands it.  We don't remember Elle being so demanding.  Jay is also much more of a snuggler.  When he snuggles he wants to be so close to whomever he is snuggling with.
